ANT
the barbarian
ANT is everything. ANT is divine.
ANT is uncomfortable in regular “society”, but this is “fine” since society tends to be full of gross people with bodily fluids and an inexplicable desire to touch each other all the time. Nevertheless, the number of people ANT actually wants to spend time with has recently reached double digits (if the emotional support mouse counts and the number is in binary). They don’t know much about the world yet, but they do know how to fight: brutally, efficiently and strategically positioned between the enemy and everyone else.

APOLLINE FREY
the bard
We didn’t STEAL it! We solved the puzzle in the dungeon, and now it’s ours. That’s how it works!
Certain sea hags may find this tiefling too pretty, but Apolline has a cryptic book of magic and as soon as she has cracked the code the evils of the world will learn to fear her spell-slinging. Formal education didn’t get her very far with the deciphering, but learning by fighting monsters seems to be doing the trick. She’s also learned a lot from her mother, a proper hero, who is currently missing. Apolline intends to be a proper hero, too, and the logical first step is to heroically rescue her mother from an unknown fate!

IKAREL ABELL
the warlock
Is it surprising that my family sword is evil? Yes, a little bit!
Just a regular, far too trusting guy from a humble background, with not-exactly-holy magical powers from a mysterious voice and an inability to accept his wife’s tragic passing. The main plan is to get her back, and main the question is how. Fortunately for Ike, he is good at making friends with more or less secretive people along the way, helpful for dragging him out of a ditch or “borrowing” magical artifacts from a grave.

LYSANDER FIÐRILD
the wizard
Killing him won’t bring my family back. But killing his friends did!
Lysander was happily paying close attention to butterflies and hardly any attention to lessons in magic until he was forced to flee his home tower when it was attacked by mysterious cloaked figures. His flight took him through the woods and eventually into the cities of Palar, searching for a woman from his past who may have answers. He found a lot of new people along the way and held a normal conversation with exactly none of them. And he found a woman. She may not be precisely the right one, but perhaps close enough?

SALLY REED
the rogue cleric
You are loved … I don’t know why I have to say that for this spell to work.
This university dropout may or may not have taken Murder 101. Despite recently devoting herself to the Changebringer, she is more comfortable with a crossbow in her hand than a holy symbol. She is not sure yet how Avandra feels about gambling and drinking, but so far the goddess hasn’t noticably complained about her follower “finding her own path” into the nearest bar to wind down after a tough fight.
